Transitions are important in a trailer as they can easily convey messages for the trailer itself. For example blurs can represent a vision which would give the audience a clear indication of whats happening. However if they were to use a wipe transition to begin the vision it would not make any sense and would also confuse the audience about what is happening which would result in the trailer not being any good. Therefore it is vital to use the correct transitions so that out trailer if effective.
