magazine questionnaire
I carried out a questionnaire so i know which type of magazine that i should create in order to appeal to my target audience. through my research i found that i should make it a modern style because it my target audience is between 17 - 21 year olds who would prefer a mainstream magazine to review a range of films. Also, majority voted for psychological films as their favourite genre which allows us to make the main focus visions. finally most people were willing to pay between £2.01 -3

moodboard
this mood board enabled me to look at a variety of film magazines and a range of genres. the main point of creating the mood board was so that i could understand the house style of a particular magazine. for example we can see the i have picked a range of 'FILM' magazines, the house style for these are that the layout is the same for each one and it is easily recognisable to be a 'FILM' magazine. All the magazines on this mood board have a particular colour scheme, the colour scheme matches to the main image for example in 'Premier' on the bottom left we can see that the colours are based around spiderman's costime colours therefore allowing the magazine to come together. This therefore shows me what a good magazine would look like and what the features of a good magazine are.
